The world is about to end.... again.
Tonight, Torchwood's 3th season premiers! I can't wait to see it, cause I'm quite a fan.
For those of you who don't know the show: Torchwood is a sci-fi Doctor Who-spinoff, shown on the BBC. It's a little less family and a bit more adult, so it's more violent and more sexed up than doctor who. It's about the fictional Torchwood institute, based in Cardiff. Torchwood hunts down aliens and sends them back to were they came from, or kill them. The team consists of Captain Jack Harkness, played by the flamboyant John Barrowman, Ianto Jones (Gareth David-Lloyd) and Gwen Cooper (Eve Myles) and, untill last season, in which they both died: Owen Harper (Burn Gorman) and Toshiko Sato (Naoko Mori).
While the previous series both consisted of 13 episodes, season 3 is a miniseries as it consists of only 5 episodes. The serial, named 'Children Of The Earth', is about a government who struck a deal in the 1960s with an alien race and the consequences of it - something that will affect all the children on Earth. It features CGI aliens called The 456 who are introduced in the third episode. The story further establishes the romantic relationship between Jack and Ianto and how Gwen and Rhys cope with married life around Torchwood "as Rhys potentially becomes the fourth member of the team."
Apparently we also get to see some of Iantos and Jacks family.
I especially can't wait for the development on the Jack/Ianto front, hehe ;)

The week that was...
I had a good week at work, I work for an organisation which provides help for old people. I work in cleaning, and I have to clean old peoples houses. Not the best job in the world ofcourse, and it isn't that well paid, but while you're busy doing it, it's quite alright and if the people are nice it's pretty satisfying.
This week was good, cause I'm finally starting to get way around when I'm at the houses and this week I also met some really nice people. Monday I had to work at a trailerpark, I didn't really know what to expect, but the lady in question was really nice and... interesting in a way... but also kinda weird. She told me that her son, some 40 year old single who lives next door, sometimes stays at her house (and I believe he also actually sleeps next to her in her bed, cause there was a sleepingbag next to her on the bed...), so that was a bit freaky, she also had some weird trailer-habits, like I couldn't put the soapy water I used in the sink in the kitchen, but had to flush it down the toilet.... But the lady was quite nice and I'm cleaning there again tomorrow.
On wednesday I met the nicest people ever, I really wanted to adopt them as my grandparents, the man of the house was really adorable and friendly, he wouldn't stop giving me coffee and kept asking if he could something to help out and he wanted to talk the whole time. He just made my day, I left the house with a big smile on my face, and I'm really happy that I clean their house again this wednesday.
Thursday was my graduation at school, so now I'm an official HAVO-graduate. I think I could say I can be proud of myself, since I graduated with honor and I'm very satisfied with my grades:
Fridaynight I went to a movie with Hidde and Desiree at Cinode, which was quite nice.
And yesterday I got a new toy:
I went to buy this laptop with my parents, it was my graduation+(belated)birthday gift. And I'm really happy with it! :)
